Yes, all soap is made with lye. Lye causes the chemical reaction that takes oil from a liquid state to a bar state.

Discontinue use and rinse thoroughly. We are not responsible for allergic reactions to our products.

Preservatives are required in these products as they are very fragile in nature. A number of influences can contaminate a product with a few of those being tap water, our hands and our environment. Without preservatives, these products would have a minimal shelf life and would be subject to mold, bacteria and fungus.  

We want each of our customers to be completely satisfied. If you happen to have a problem with an item, please feel free to express your concerns to us as we want our customers to be totally satisfied shopping with us.

Some of our products are made with essential oils, especially our salts. Be it known that essential oils are volatile oils.  While essential oils may be used to treat conditions, Scent by Kent does not make any medical claims in the use of essential oils. People with certain medical conditions should avoid using products containing essential oils. Some of these conditions would be pregnancy, epilepsy, heart conditions, high blood pressure, liver conditions, diabetes or if you are currently using prescription drugs. Please educate yourself regarding your particular condition and the precautions you should take in maintaining that condition.
